A better shot of the walking trail modified section of the trail. left side being the MTB section, where rock bits are still yet to be fully bedded in. the right side the old stairs of the walking trail
these rock bits were pounded in, in big quantity around 1 month ago. is now bedded in nicely to prevent any erosion due to bike braking
another view of the same slope from below
bakau wood lining holding well. These shots were taken around 24hrs after a big 3 hrs downpour. water drainage is doing the job. not a sign of water around this area
a better shot of the drain 2. dig deep, set the wood and pebbles and we are set
a closeup on the drainage
drain 3, a double drain system to clear the excess water flowing down a natural gulley.
closeup of drain 3, the log is placed more to line the riders sight
probably need a 2nd filling of pebbles to fill up this drainage system
a long steep section. erosion is prevented via pebble armoring in moderation.
Snake slope, note the minimal pebble armoring done.
low density pebbles to cut the mud slide, yet giving some muddy traction
start of snake slope, the berm is half done, top soil condition is ideal for riding. Future armoring and clay needed.
